A Little About the Owner
My background is in traditional medicine, and I graduated from Medical School with a degree in Pediatrics. I went on to pursue a post-baccalaureate certificate in Information Management from UW, and a Master of Science degree from American Sentinel University. I spent 20 years working within the medical field and am familiar with various aspects of the healthcare industry.
I first experienced floating in 2014, and it was an experience that set in motion a healing process that changed the course of my life! In recent years depression and anxiety had started taking control of my life. Conventional treatment and medication did not bring any relief, so I had been practicing yoga and meditation when I discovered and fell in love with floating!
Starting Mill Creek Float
I had the idea of opening a float studio after one of my float sessions in late 2014. A revelation that came from my heart, I saw firsthand how the mind can help heal the body and improve quality of life. I’m a strong supporter of alternative modalities to healing, and am now excited to share my experience with others. Opening a float center gave me an opportunity to become a healer in a very unique way, and my heart is excited to help people feel better physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
